This involves handling every part of the development process, from the user-facing interface and experience to the server-side logic, databases, and APIs according to our client's specifications as well as plan, engineer, and support new and existing in-house projects. Knowledge of continuous integration techniques and deployment processes is a must.*Full-Stack Developer Duties and Responsibilities of the Job*A full-Stack Developer must have experience in the planning and the delivery of desktop & web applications across multiple platforms. Responsibilities include:* Writing efficient code* Communicating with designers regarding requirements and UI design* Researching new technologies keeping our projects up to date* Continuously supporting/expanding existing projects* Accurately quoting new projects/features* Tracking time spent per project*Job Qualifications and Requirements*While we don't have any formal educational requirements, experience in the field is necessary. Knowledge in the following is required:* Strong grasp of HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and object oriented PHP* Front-end frameworks: React, Angular, Vue.js. and Electronjs* Server-side languages: like Python, Node.js, and database management* C# (.NET)* Experience with source control, specifically GIT* Experience with relational database systems such as MySQL* AWS (creating ec2 instances and managing s3 buckets)* Docker (creation of dockerfiles and creating compose scripts)* Analyzing and tracing through large established code bases* Experience integrating with 3rd party API's such as payment gateways, email services, and social media sites* Creating and consuming RESTful API's* Accurate quoting and time tracking* Developing and maintaining web applications from conception to deployment* Conducting testing and debugging to ensure the application is reliable and stable* Collaborating with designers, product managers, and other developers to meet project requirements* Implementing responsive design to ensure cross-platform compatibility for web and mobile devices*Nice to haves*The following aren't required for the position, but if you have any of these it'll definitely help.* Familiarity with PHP frameworks such as Laravel/Lumen and Symfony* Experience with other languages such as C++ and Golang* Experience with Terraform* Devops experience in general* Experience in designing and implementing the user interface (UI) to be intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing*What to expect*We're a small team with BIG projects. As such, you can expect to learn new technologies and languages over time. You're not a cog in a machine here, you'll be involved in almost all aspects of our projects and will provide vital input about their construction.*This is a non-exempt position. Compensation: $74,256/yr.
