We're seeking a skilled and motivated *Aircraft Wheel & Brake Technician* with *aviation maintenance experience* to join our team.Interested in learning more about this job Scroll down and find out what skills, experience and educational qualifications are needed.*Responsibilities** Inspect, repair, and overhaul *aircraft wheels and brakes* in accordance with *FAA, OEM, and customer requirements*.* Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs with accuracy and accountability.* Sign off and be responsible for all maintenance performed.* Operate in a *fast-paced aviation maintenance environment* while meeting performance goals.* Ensure compliance with *safety, regulatory, and quality standards*.*Requirements** *High school diploma (or equivalent)* required.* *2+ years of aviation maintenance experience*, including *NDT (ET, MT, PT)* preferred.* *A&P License* required.* Ability to *read, write, and communicate in English*.* Must be a *U.S. Citizen*.* Capable of *lifting up to 80 lbs* and performing physical tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, and crouching.* Must be able to *pass pre-employment drug test and background check*.* Familiarity with technical publications related to aircraft wheels and brakes.* Respirator fit eligible.*Preferred Skills** Strong *organizational and multitasking skills*.* Ability to interpret written, oral, and diagram instructions.* Prior NDT experience a plus.*Work Environment** Monday-Friday, *8:00 AM - 4:30 PM* schedule.* Must tolerate working in a *noisy environment* with moving parts, vibrations, and aviation maintenance materials.*Join a trusted name in aviation repair and overhaul.* Apply today to build your career with *Alsco Aviation*!Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hourBenefits:* Paid sick time* Paid time off* Retirement planExperience:* Aviation: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:* A&P License (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Anchorage, AK 99501: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
