Responsibilities Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies and bronchoscopies Monitor vital signs during the procedure Assist the physician during the examination Provide post-procedure care, including recovery and discharge instructions Educate patients about the procedure and answer any questions they may have Maintain and sterilize equipment Document patient information and procedure results Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and other nurses Requirements Job Qualification One year of Endoscopy RN experience required, completed within the last two years. Active RN license in the state of practice (or compact state if applicable).
