Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus. We are recruiting for a Safety Manager for our Berlin, NJ plant. This is a leadership role for an experienced safety professional ready to drive meaningful change in a facility where safety improvement is a top priority. You will have the opportunity to shape culture, influence behaviors, and make a measurable difference in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Safety Manager uses data and KPIs to identify risks, implement proactive solutions, and lead continuous improvement.Your Day to Day:Manage, develop and review Regulatory Programs Manage, develop and review Plant Safety Policies Manage, assign, track and report all Regulatory and Safety Training Manage Workers Compensation Cases including doctor visits, case reviews, light duty job offers, reports, financial forecastProvide hazard identification training for all employees, conduct plant audits, develop solutions, track, and reportControl the Health & Safety Budget (PPE, safety supplies, medical first aid)Prepare weekly and monthly reporting for all aspects of safety programProvide Medical First Responder (first aid)Investigate incidents, find root cause, and manage Incident Management System for Case Management Perform safety reviews for Management of Change May be required to perform other related duties as assignedWhat You Bring to the Team:Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years manufacturing safety and leadership experience Must have a proven record of utilizing data and KPIs safety improvement in a 24/7 manufacturing environmentKnowledge/Understanding of OSHA RegulationsKnowledge/Understanding of ANSI StandardsKnowledge/Understanding of NFPA StandardsKnowledge/Understanding of Workers Compensation LawsKnowledge/Understanding of Hazard RecognitionKnowledge and experience in First Aid, AED, CPRStrong leadership skillsSolid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work and partner with Plant Leadership teamMinimal travel required (0 - 10 days per year)May be required to lift, carry, push or pull up to and including 50 poundsWork environment is typical of a manufacturing setting.
