Serves as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current prospective patients, to all internal and external customers. Participates in quality assurance and customer service activities.* Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' speech and language abilities.* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, targeting specific speech, language, and swallowing goals.* Provide therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to, articulation therapy, language development therapy, voice therapy, and cognitive training.* Monitor and document patients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans, as necessary.* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nurses, to coordinate patient care.* Educate patients, families, and caregivers about speech and language disorders, treatment strategies, and home exercises.* Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patients' progress and make recommendations for discharge planning.*QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:** *EDUCATION: *Master's degree in speech pathology is REQUIRED. Passing the Praxis exam, and completing your clinical fellowship, you'll apply for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).* *EXPERIENCE:* A minimum of one year of experience working in the speech pathology field is PREFERRED.
