We specialize in commercial and residential site prep / earthwork, septic systems, and material hauling.Candidates should take the time to read all the elements of this job advert carefully Please make your application promptly.We are currently seeking a Diesel / Heavy Equipment Mechanic with 5 years or more of experience to join our team full-time in Eugene. You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance, including accurate record-keeping, of our dump trucks, equipment trailers, and company pickups as well as a variety of excavators, backhoes, dozers, graders, rollers, plate compactors, and pumps.*Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm**Pay: $32 - $38 per Hour DOE**Required Qualifications & Skills:** Minimum 5 years of experience* Valid driver's licenses, *prefer* *Class A CDL ** Ability to operate and inspect trucks, heavy equipment or machines to diagnose problems* Experience in repair and maintenance of hydraulics, engines, clutches, transmissions, differentials, suspensions, air brakes, running gear, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on various types of equipment (excavators, backhoes, dozers, graders, and rollers), dump trucks, pickup trucks and small tools/engines (plate compactors).* Understanding of DOT inspection requirements, including daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIR), annual vehicle inspection reports, brake checks, 90-day inspections, etc.* Ability to work independently, organize, schedule, perform and document maintenance* Able to read and understand service manuals* Keep a clean and organized shop* Heavy lifting and bending* Bring Your Own Tools (limited tools onsite) to perform minor & major repairs on heavy equipment and trucks*We offer competitive wages, employer-paid health/vision insurance (100% for employee), dental insurance (at employee expense), PTO (including select holidays), 401K/ROTH 401K with 4% company matching, and stable employment.*Pre-employment drug testing required.If you are looking for a great company, then we are the company for you.Let's talk.
