Maintains and performs repairs on building mechanical equipment and controls, chiller and chilled water systems, heat exchangers, variable volume air systmes (VAV), DDC controls, refrigeration equipment and various other mechanical, electrical and building systems in such a manner as to ensure eptimal relations. Understands control operation, and sequence of operation for commercial and industrial HVAC systems. Must be well organized to keep accurate service and maintenance records and communicate effectively. Works as a leader, has strong customer relationships and team building qualities.Responsibilities: --* Install replacement equipment and parts per manufacturers specifications to honor manufacturers warranties.* Maintains various equipment such as; HVACR equipment, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, Boilers, water heaters, air handlers, CRAC units, UPS systems.* Complete HVACR preventive maintenance in accordance with established standards* Troubleshoot, Analyze and repair HVACR malfunctions in accordance with EPA established standards* Follow maintenance schedule to complete accurate and timely equipment maintenance and operating logs* Complete documentation, including but not limited to, timesheets, expense reports and service reports.* Conduct general tasks including, but not limited to, safety training, group meetings and maintaining tools and vehicle (if applicable)Qualifications: --* High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.* 6+ Years experience water and air cooled Chillers (Trane and York).* Must be very familiar with operations and troubleshooting of HVAC controls.* Familiar with BAS (Building Automated Systems), Metasys and AL experience preferred.* Knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems. Basic mathematical abilities in all units of measure.
