The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor law, employment disputes, wage and hour claims, workplace investigations, and compliance with federal and state employment regulations. You will represent clients ranging from individuals to businesses in both litigation and advisory matters.*Key Responsibilities** Provide legal counsel to employers and/or employees on matters related to:* Wage and hour laws (FLSA, Florida Minimum Wage)* Wrongful termination and retaliation* Discrimination and harassment (EEOC, FCHR)* Employment contracts, non-competes, and severance agreements* Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) compliance* Represent clients in administrative hearings and state/federal court proceedings.* Conduct internal investigations and risk assessments for workplace disputes.* Draft and negotiate employment agreements, HR policies, and handbooks.* Advise HR departments and employers on compliance with federal and Florida labor laws.* Participate in mediation, arbitration, and settlement negotiations.* Monitor legislative developments and regulatory changes impacting employment law.* Collaborate with litigation and corporate teams on overlapping matters.*Qualifications** Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.* Active license to practice law in the state of Florida (in good standing).* Minimum *2-5 years of experience* practicing labor and employment law.* Strong understanding of both *federal and Florida employment statutes* (Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, etc.).* Litigation and negotiation experience strongly preferred.* Bilingual in *English and Spanish* is a plus.* Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.* Ability to manage multiple matters independently and meet deadlines.*Preferred Skills** Experience representing clients before the EEOC, FCHR, NLRB, or Department of Labor.* Trial or arbitration experience.* Familiarity with union/labor relations or collective bargaining (if applicable).* Client management and business development skills.*Benefits** Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses* Health, dental, and vision insurance* Paid time off and holidays* CLE and bar dues reimbursementJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Health insuranceWork Location: In person
