*Office of the CEO Positions at Stamford JCC*A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.*Position 1: Special Assistant to the CEO - Business Analyst, Data, and Strategy**Department:* Office of the CEO*Reports To:* Chief Executive Officer*FLSA Status:* Exempt*Salary Range:* $60,000*Position Summary*The Special Assistant to the CEO - Business Analyst, Data, and Strategy serves as a critical analytical and strategic resource within the newly established Office of the CEO at Stamford JCC. This role combines business intelligence, data analytics, technology implementation, and financial planning to support data-driven decision-making across all organizational functions. The position provides direct analytical and project support to the CEO while building comprehensive business systems infrastructure that will serve as the foundation for organizational growth and operational excellence during a transformative period that includes capital construction projects, corporate acquisitions, CRM implementation, and multi-business unit expansion.This is a high-visibility leadership development role designed to prepare an ambitious early-career professional for advancement into management positions within 18-36 months, with natural progression pathways to Director-level roles in Finance, Membership/Marketing, Development, or Business Systems Management.*Essential Responsibilities**Business Intelligence & Analytics *· Design, develop, and maintain executive dashboards and KPI tracking systems in partnership with Controller, integrating data from membership, programs, camp, fitness, aquatics, early childhood, and financial systems· Analyze organizational performance across all business units using key metrics including membership trends, program enrollment, revenue per member, facility utilization rates, retention metrics, and financial performance indicators· Create regular and ad-hoc reports, data visualizations, and executive briefings for CEO, senior leadership team, and board of directors using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Exerp· Conduct comparative benchmarking analysis against peer JCCs and industry standards to identify performance gaps and growth opportunities· Support annual budgeting process through financial modeling, scenario planning, revenue forecasting, and variance analysis· Develop survey instruments, analyze member feedback data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for program improvement and member experience enhancement· Track capital project budgets, construction timelines, vendor performance, and spending against approved allocations· Monitor acquisition integration metrics including member conversion rates, program migration, financial performance, and operational consolidation milestones*Technology & CRM Implementation *· Assist with the implementation, integration, and organizational adoption of Exerp CRM system across all departments and user groups· Serve as liaison between Exerp vendor, IT support, Finance, and department directors to ensure seamless technical integration with existing systems (QuickBooks, TadPoles, Microsoft Suite of service)· Develop CRM training materials, conduct user training sessions, and provide ongoing technical support to staff at all levels· Design and implement data governance protocols, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security across all organizational systems· Create automated reporting workflows that extract CRM data for dashboard population and performance tracking· Identify opportunities for technology optimization, process automation, and digital tools that enhance operational efficiency· Support IT infrastructure projects including member portals, online registration systems, payment processing, and digital communication platforms· Evaluate and recommend new software solutions for marketing automation, program management, facility scheduling, and business operations*Strategic Projects & Financial Analysis *· Coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives including capital construction projects (playground, facility renovations) new business integration, program expansions, and new business development· Conduct financial feasibility studies for new programs, revenue streams, and capital investments, including ROI analysis and break-even modeling· Support business development initiatives through market research, competitive analysis, demographic studies, and financial due diligence· Analyze pricing strategies across membership categories, program fees, facility rentals, and ancillary services to optimize revenue while maintaining accessibility· Track and report on restricted and unrestricted revenue sources, grant compliance, government funding utilization, and fundraising campaign progress· Prepare board materials including financial summaries, strategic planning documents, performance dashboards, and policy recommendations· Document business processes, create standard operating procedures, and build institutional knowledge management systems*CEO Support & Organizational Development *· Provide analytical support for executive decision-making through research, data analysis, and strategic recommendations· Prepare presentations, talking points, and briefing materials for board meetings, community forums, and stakeholder presentations· Participate in strategic planning sessions and executive team meetings, contributing data-driven insights and analytical perspective· Support organizational culture initiatives focused on accountability, transparency, and performance excellence*Qualifications**Required:*· Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related quantitative field from an accredited institution· 1-3 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, financial analysis, consulting, or technology implementation (internships and academic projects considered)· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, complex formulas, data modeling)· Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio) and ability to create compelling visual presentations of complex data· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to work with large datasets, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences at all organizational levels· Project management capabilities including planning, stakeholder coordination, timeline management, and deliverable tracking· High level of attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity· Self-directed work style with ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision· Collaborative mindset and ability to build effective working relationships across departments and with external vendors*Preferred:*· Experience with CRM systems, particularly Exerp, Salesforce, or similar nonprofit/membership management platforms· Knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data extraction and analysis· Familiarity in survey design, research methods, and statistical analysis· Understanding of KPIs including donor retention, membership lifecycle metrics, program efficiency ratios, and overhead analysis· Certification or coursework in data analytics, business intelligence, project management (PMP, CAPM), or business
