Delaney Radiology is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic PACS Administrator to join our growing team! _Candidates should take the time to read all the elements of this job advert carefully Please make your application promptly.*Position Summary:*The PACS Administrator supports the daily operations of the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), ensuring the efficient operation of our imaging systems and providing healthcare professionals with reliable access to medical images and data. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical imaging environments and a strong technical aptitude.*Key Responsibilities:** Provide first-line support and training to PACS users"”including radiologists, technologists, and other staff"”while minimizing workflow disruptions.* Monitor PACS performance and promptly escalate technical issues to senior IS/IT staff as needed.* Ensure accurate and timely distribution of imaging studies to appropriate healthcare providers.* Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.* Assist with quality control and data integrity tasks.* Support onboarding for new users and ongoing account management for existing users.* Perform routine system checks, upgrades, and basic maintenance.* Participate in after-hours support on a rotational basis or as assigned.*Qualifications:** Associate's degree in IT, Healthcare Informatics, Radiography, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.* Proven ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.* Exceptional troubleshooting, attention to detail, communication, and user support skills.* Strong technical aptitude and proven adaptability to learning new technologies.* Experience in a medical office, imaging center, IT support role, or healthcare IT/imaging systems.* Experience with PACS/RIS, HIPAA compliance, and medical imaging standards such as DICOM and HL7.* Experience with IntelePACS is highly preferred.*What you'll receive:*Joining the Delaney team comes with a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:* 100% company-paid medical and dental insurance for employees (dependent coverage available at employee cost)* Generous paid time off for personal days and vacations* Paid holidays* 401(k) plan with company contributions* A positive and supportive work environment* And much more!*About Us:*Delaney Radiology is the leading imaging group in Southeastern North Carolina.
