We have an effective strategy with a long list of wins to the firm name.*Position Overview*We are seeking an Oregon-licensed attorney to join our practice in a work from home capacity, with in-person court appearances required for trials and when needed to meet client and case needs. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator to handle complex and diverse insurance defense cases from inception through trial. We are seeking someone who wants to try jury trials. You need to be organized, and a smart problem solver. California and Oregon Bars would be great, because we have a ton of cases in California as well.*Required Qualifications** Active membership in the Oregon State Bar* 3-5 years of litigation experience* Strong litigation skills and desire to try cases* Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives* Willingness to travel within Oregon and California if California licenses for court appearances and trials and case requirements*Preferred Qualifications** Active membership in both California and Oregon State Bars (ideal candidate will hold both licenses)* Insurance defense litigation experience* Experience in taking depositions and second or first chair trial experience would be a bonus* Track record of successful motion practice* Experience in developing case strategy with clients* Background in handling cases through trial as lead attorney*Key Responsibilities** Manage full lifecycle of cases from initial assignment through resolution* Develop and execute case strategies in collaboration with clients* Conduct depositions and examinations under oath* Draft and argue motions* Prepare legal opinions and analysis* Lead trials as first chair* Work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining strong team collaboration*Work Environment** Remote position with flexibility* Team-oriented culture* Opportunities for professional growth* Multi-state practice exposure* Supportive professional environment*Ideal Candidate Profile*We're looking for an attorney who shares our commitment to defending against unmeritorious claims and maintaining the integrity of the insurance industry.
