We opened an office in 2024 and looking for 1-2 attorneys to help us continue to represent our current clients and build new business. We are not new to opening new offices. We have already grown our practice to KY, TN, PA and FL and NJ is our next expansion. We are looking at candidates with 2-3 years of litigation experience. The responsibilities of this position include the full litigation process, including drafting, writing, researching and effective communication with clients, as well as moving cases through the litigation process in accordance with court and client mandated deadlines.Minimum requirements:* 2-3 years of experience* Licensed NJ* Strong organizational and time management skills* Excellent oral and written communication skills* Proficient in Microsoft office and familiar with legal case management softwareWhat will your day look like:* Draft pleadings, motions, & settlement agreements (Answers, Third-Party Complaints, Cross/Counterclaims, discovery (requests and responses), motions to compel, motions for summary judgment, subpoenas for deposition, etc.)* Review, analyze, and summarize discovery and conduct fact investigations for file management and drafting updates to clients.* Communicate with clients, opposing parties, experts, and non-parties.* Prepare clients for, defend, and take depositions.* Prepare for, attend, and participate in Mediations.* Conduct Legal Research on variety of issues relevant to case(s).Benefits:· Incentive plan worth up to $15,000 per calendar year· Paid time off· Medical, Dental and Vison as well as supplemental offerings for benefits· 401K with a matching program· CLE reimbursementAt Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele, we treat attorneys as professionals and provide the support they need to deliver excellent legal work to our clients.
