Job DescriptionJob DescriptionArthritis Care P.C is seeking a fulltime Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a busy Rheumatology Practice Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Fridays 8am-12pmEnsure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:Evaluate and manage patients with autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, psoriatic arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, and osteoporosisOrder and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic studiesDevelop and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising rheumatologistsProvide patient education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modificationsWork closely with physicians, nurses, and staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered careQualifications:Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner programCurrent certification as a nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).Current NYS licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (or eligibility)Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant. xijylhu Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).Prior experience in rheumatology or primary care preferred; motivated new graduates encouraged to applyStrong communication, organizational, and clinical skillsCommitment to patient-centered, outpatient-focused careWe offer a competitive benefits package, including: Base salary range $110,00-150,000 depending on experienceComprehensive health insurance (medical, dental)Generous paid time off and holiday scheduleEmployer 401k matchAnnual CME allowance and dedicated CME timeOccurrence-based malpractice coverage
