This Surgical Services RN is responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in Surgical Services Ambulatory area and Operating Room as assigned for all patient populations. The responsibilities of the Surgical Services RN include yet not limited to:Rotating through all specialties of Surgical Services (Ambulatory, Recovery Room & OR) as assigned. Preparing patients for surgery.Circulating surgical procedures as assigned. Collaboration and caring for the patient during their Operative episode. Verification of Universal ProtocolGiving SBARQ report Ensuring all specimens are managed correctly.Documentation on electronic recordRestocking supplies and care of equipmentFunctioning as a team playerRecovering patients from surgery.Discharging patients from Ambulatory SurgeryRequirements:The candidate must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
