The firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to assist with a high-volume unlawful detainer and landlord-tenant practice. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the founding attorney, gain direct hands-on litigation experience, and grow alongside the firm as it continues to develop.The Associate Attorney will be involved in the unlawful detainer litigation process from inception through resolution, including drafting and reviewing notices, preparing pleadings, law and motion practice, discovery, court appearances, and, as experience develops, trials. Because the firm is currently a solo practice, the Associate Attorney will receive meaningful responsibility, direct mentorship, and exposure to all aspects of running a litigation practice.*Responsibilities include:** Drafting and reviewing pre-litigation notices and pleadings* Handling law and motion practice* Conducting and responding to discovery* Making court appearances in unlawful detainer matters* Assisting with and eventually handling trials* Managing cases from intake through disposition under supervision*Qualifications:** Admission to the California State Bar, or currently awaiting bar exam results* Experience in unlawful detainer or landlord-tenant litigation is highly preferred* Strong legal research, writing, and organizational skills* Ability to manage deadlines and work independently* Professional demeanor and strong work ethic*Compensation:** Salary: $100,000 annually* Opportunity for increased responsibility and long-term professional growth as the firm expandsHillel Law Office APC is seeking an attorney who is motivated, reliable, and interested in becoming a key part of a growing practice.
