Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:The Registered Nurse is a licensed nurse who is responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for guests in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status). Medical clinical management is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members.RESPONSIBILITIES: Dispense prescribed and PRN meds to guestsRespond to the guest's health concerns, making appropriate assessments and referralsMaintain the medication administration recordTranscribe prescriber ordersReview incoming guest history and physical forms, and address any concerns with appropriate staffOversee the scheduling of guests to see Medical ProvidersAssist guests in obtaining prescription refillsDocument notes accurately and neatlyMaintain organization and cleanliness of the med roomIncident reportsNursing assessment of the guest's actual/potential health problemsProvide supportive and restorative careHealth counseling and teachingCollaboration in the implementation of the total health care regimenExecution of the medical regimen under the direction of a licensed providerPerform urine testing for toxicologyMinimum Qualification:Not sure what skills you will need for this opportunity Simply read the full description below to get a complete picture of candidate requirements.Graduate of an accredited school of nursingLicensed Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut.One year's experience in the role preferred, but not required.Familiarity with 12-step programs is helpful but not requiredPhysical Demands:The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
