These leadership teams will work to create home, community, family, and provide Residents with the highest quality of life and quality of care in a household model of care. Residents will be provided by a team of household staff working in an environment that supports their personal growth and job satisfaction. The Clinical Nurse Leaders and Household Coordinators will form a Neighborhood Council which will serve all households in a guiding and supporting role under the guidance of the Vice President, Nursing and the Administrator.The Clinical Nurse Leader performs nursing duties within the scope of practice as defined by the State of Connecticut and provides nursing care to household Residents in accordance with the Core Values of Mozaic Senior Life and practices within the scope of the role of RN/LPN. The Clinical Nurse Leader assumes the responsibility for the overall delivery of care and supports the household team to ensure quality of care and quality of life.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Qualifications:Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursingExperience: 1+ years clinical experience in a long-term care setting preferredLicensure: RN, State of Connecticut, BLS/CPR certification, only acceptedAmerican Red Cross or American Heart AssociationKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and at times hostile residents within the facility.
