The Instructor must use multiple learning methods in the classroom to maximize student learning. The position is responsible for facets of the Gunsmithing Program and curricula. The primary duty is to prepare and deliver in-class, hybrid, and/or online instruction to students. Strong personal leadership, organization, instruction, and communication skills are needed to meet program requirements and enable student success.The Gunsmithing Instructor typically works Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. All full-time faculty are expected to teach fifteen (15) hours per semester with a total of thirty (30) per academic year. EWC requires a minimum of five (5) on campus office hours held throughout the week.
