*Job Summary*Do not wait to apply after reading this description a high application volume is expected for this opportunity.We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with diagnostic tools, and the ability to work efficiently on various machinery including farm equipment, industrial machinery, and vehicle fleets. The Diesel Mechanic will ensure all equipment operates safely and reliably, supporting the overall productivity of our operations.*Responsibilities** Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brake systems.* Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, alignment, and shocks & struts replacement.* Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.* Repair heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other industrial machinery.* Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, soldering, and hand tools.* Operate power tools safely for assembly and repair tasks.* Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.* Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used.* Assist with equipment assembly or reassembly following repairs or modifications.* Ensure compliance with safety standards during all repair activities.*Qualifications** Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic with dealership experience preferred.* Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, transmissions, HVAC systems, and electrical systems.* Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and farm machinery.* Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.* Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools.* Mechanical knowledge related to hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, alignment procedures, shocks & struts repair.* Experience in welding and fabrication techniques is a plus.* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.* Strong customer service skills for interacting with clients or team members when necessary.* Relevant certifications or licenses related to diesel engine repair or heavy equipment operation are advantageous but not mandatory. xijylhu This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical skills are valued and ongoing training is encouraged to keep up with industry advancements.Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hourExpected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:* Paid time offWork Location: In person
