With two operating locations in Lyman, ME and Eliot, ME, we are committed to quality workmanship, dependable service, and maintaining a strong, safety-focused team.*Position Summary*We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered trucks and heavy equipment. Extensive experience with diesel systems is required, and prior experience working on front-end discharge concrete mixers is a plus.*Key Responsibilities** Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel trucks and heavy equipment* Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure fleet reliability and safety* Inspect equipment for mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards* Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, braking systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems* Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records* Coordinate with operations staff to minimize equipment downtime* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures*Qualifications and Experience** Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic* Extensive knowledge of diesel engines, heavy trucks, and construction equipment* Experience with concrete mixer trucks preferred; front-end discharge mixer experience is a plus* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively* Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required* Welding and fabrication experience is a plus*Physical Requirements** Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance* Ability to xijylhu climb stairs and ladders safely and without limitation* Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces for extended periods*Compensation** Top-end, highly competitive pay based on experience* Full-time, year-round employment with a stable, family-owned company*Work Environment** Shop-based work with occasional field repairsJob Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 40 - 60 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Retirement plan* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
