The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair, heavy equipment maintenance, and automotive diagnostics. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy machinery and vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Candidates with dealership experience, fabrication skills, and familiarity with industrial equipment are highly preferred. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects involving farm machinery, construction equipment, and transportation vehicles in a dynamic environment.*Responsibilities** Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brake systems* Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, alignment, and brake repairs* Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues* Operate and repair heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other industrial machinery* Conduct welding, soldering, fabrication, and assembly tasks as needed for repairs or modifications* Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently* Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety standards* Assist with the installation of new equipment or components for heavy machinery* Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan* Support customer service efforts by providing technical advice and ensuring customer satisfaction*Requirements** Proven mechanic experience with heavy diesel engines; dealership experience is a plus* Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and power tools* Experience working with farm machinery, industrial equipment, vehicle maintenance including tractor-trailers* Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately* Skilled in welding, fabrication, soldering, and use of hand tools or power tools* Capable of heavy lifting and working in physically demanding xijylhu environments* Valid certification or experience in brake repair, alignment, shocks & struts repair is desirable* Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced settingThis position is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to apply their mechanical expertise in a challenging environment while contributing to the safety and efficiency of our operations.Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $44.00 per hourExpected hours: 45 per weekBenefits:* Health insurance* Paid time offWork Location: In person
