This role requires advanced expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding diesel engines and major vehicle systems. The ideal candidate has deep technical knowledge across transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, and engine performance, with the ability to handle complex repairs independently and efficiently. This position is suited for a seasoned professional who takes pride in precision work, safety, and keeping equipment operating at peak performance.*The duties and responsibilities of this position include:** Perform advanced diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on diesel engines and related systems* Complete engine repairs and full engine rebuilds to manufacturer and industry standards* Diagnose and repair complex electrical systems and wiring issues* Remove, repair, and replace transmissions and rear-end assemblies* Perform advanced suspension repairs, alignments, and steering system work* Troubleshoot and resolve performance, drivability, and mechanical issues* Conduct inspections to identify needed repairs and ensure vehicle safety and reliability* Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation* Follow all safety procedures and shop policies*Requirements:** 10+ years of diesel mechanic experience* Advanced knowledge of engine diagnostics, repair, and rebuilds* Advanced experience with transmission and rear-end removal and repair* Strong electrical diagnostic and repair skills* Advanced suspension repair and alignment experience* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills* Commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards*Preferred Skills:** Experience with CNG systems, including trailers, tanks, and gas systems* Hot works experience and physical agility to perform shop and field tasks* Pennsylvania inspection license* CDL Class A or B xijylhu preferred*Physical Requirements:** Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing requirements* Ability sit, stand, and walk continuously* Ability to kneel, bend, and reach frequently* Ability to lift up to 50lbs at customer site and/or station, as neededJob Type: Full-timePay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Employee discount* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Referral program* Vision insuranceExperience:* Diesel Mechanic: 10 years (Required)Work Location: In person
