The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical knowledge, experience with various types of heavy equipment, and proficiency in diagnostics and repair of diesel engines.*Responsibilities** Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related components on a variety of equipment including tractor-trailers, heavy equipment, and misc company assets.* Conduct fabrication tasks such as welding, soldering, and assembly to support repairs or modifications.* Operate power tools and hand tools safely to disassemble, repair, or replace faulty parts.* Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety standards are met.* Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each piece of equipment.* Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.*Experience** Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician* Strong background in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and mechanical repairs involving transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, etc* Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation including excavators, tractors, trailers, etc* Welding experience* Knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in automotive repair is essential. xijylhu * Candidates should possess strong mechanical skills combined with the ability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship.Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
