Vibe Hair Salon and Spa is an upscale certified Kerastase Salon looking to add a full-time/part-time Barber to our friendly and professional team at the gorgeous 3,500 sq foot salon facility that will open this September 2023. Excellent communication skills are a must as well as the ability to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guests. We are interested in speaking to individuals with exceptional interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills. We require qualified, experienced Barbers to work on a full/part-time basis.Apply fast, check the full description by scrolling below to find out the full requirements for this role.Our modern facility with high end premium products with a chill atmosphere, will give you and your clients an experience unlike anywhere else!Duties and Responsibilities:* Shampooing clients* Maintaining salon cleanliness* Experience with fades, skin fades, regular haircuts, beard facials, beard shaping, and all other services* Onsite laundry* Being responsible to take part in our extensive training program.* Administer all scheduled hair treatments.* Communicate to management all occurrences in the spa that require attention.* Actively promote the spa, services, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.* Actively listen to clients during the session and adjust to meet their needs.Position Requirements:* Must hold and maintain NJ Cosmetology License* 2+ years' experience as a hairstylist* Experience working in a hair salon.* Seasonal flu vaccine required.* Must enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality and excellent customer service skills.* Must be a team player.* Effectively perform all hair treatments on diverse clients.* Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. xijylhu Benefits offered for full-time employees 30 hours or more.
