This role partners with stakeholders across underwriting, servicing, collections, finance, and leadership to monitor portfolio performance and drive business decisions through data-driven insights and analytics. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and critical thinking skills within lending or financial services, advanced SQL expertise, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.**This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. All applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.Responsibilities:Analyze loan, customer, and portfolio data to identify trends, segments, and performance drivers that support credit and business objectivesWrite and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze large datasets for reporting and insightsSupport underwriting, servicing, and collections teams with data-driven insights related to credit performance and customer behaviorDevelop and maintain reporting for Finance and Accounting, including audit readiness, securitization reporting, and external investor deliverablesBuild and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports tracking KPIs across various business functionsPartner closely with IT and data engineers to ensure data accuracy, accessibility and reliable reporting outputsPresent insights and recommendations to credit leadership and key stakeholdersRequirements:S. degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent quantitative field3+ years of experience in data analytics within Credit Risk / Finance - related industry or 5+ years of experience in data analytics overallProven ability to aggregate, extract, validate, and analyze large datasets using complex SQL queriesAdvanced knowledge of credit and default risk and prior experience designing frameworks to detect and monitor delinquent and at-risk assetsHands-on experience building and publishing customized and interactive dashboards within TableauAdvanced level of MS Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivots and data tablesPassionate about solving problems with data and high level of intellectual curiosityHighly motivated to work on multiple projects in parallel and team player with a startup spiritVery strong written and oral communication skills, with proven ability to translate complex analysis into actionable insights to a non-technical audiencePreferred:Experience working with cloud-based data technologies such as Snowflake or similarWorking knowledge or experience in data collection, transformation, and storage from various sources including relational databases, APIs, logs, and unstructured filesCompensation & Perks:Attractive company subsidized Medical, Dental and Vision plans with leading insurance providers401K Plan with Company MatchLife Insurance at No Cost to EmployeesGenerous Time Off Plan Including Rollover Vacation DaysHealth Care and Dependent Care Flexible SpendingHybrid working modelCompetitive Base Salary: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00Fora Financial is a leading provider of flexible financing to US businesses.
