SMC's primary focus is the residential market.The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.*Duties & Responsibilities (Include but Are Not Limited To) *- Perform Routine Maintenance and Repairs on Diesel and Gas Engines and Vehicles as Well As Auxiliary Equipment (Compactors, Pumps, Etc.)- Diagnose and Troubleshoot Mechanic AL Issues- Repair or Replace Faulty Parts and Components- Conduct Inspections and Testing to Ensure Proper Functioning of Equipment- Repair and Replace Damaged or Worn Parts- Test Mechanical Products and Equipment After Repair or Assembly to Ensure Proper Performance- Clean, Lubricate, and Perform other Routine Maintenance Work on Equipment and Vehicles- Keep accurate Records of Repairs and Maintenance Performed- Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment*Qualifications:*- At Least 5 Years Experience in The Field- Proven Experience as A diesel Mechanic or Similar Role- Strong Knowledge of Diesel Engines, Automotive and Heavy Equipment Repair Techniques- Proficient in Using Diagnostic Tool and Equipment- Ability to Perform Tire Service as Needed- Excellent Problem-Solving Skills and Attention to Detail- Strong Customer Service Skills- Ability to Lift Heavy Objects and Perform Physical Tasks as Required- Strong Knowledge of Local, State, and Federal Health and Safety Regulations*Note:* If you are a skilled Diesel Mechanic looking for a challenging role with opportunities for growth, we invite you to join our team.
