Opportunity for growth and expansion into other roles as well inside our hotel / property management teams.*Customer Service:** Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.* Take drink orders accurately and efficiently, making recommendations when requested.* Engage with patrons in a friendly and professional manner, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.*Mixing and Serving Drinks:** Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.* Ensure drinks are prepared promptly and presented aesthetically.* Monitor alcohol consumption and adhere to legal drinking age regulations.*Cash Handling and Transactions:** Handle cash and card transactions accurately, processing payments and giving change as needed.* Maintain an organized cash register and reconcile sales at the end of each shift.* Adhere to venue policies regarding tabs, credit card processing, and cash handling procedures.*Maintaining Cleanliness and Order:** Keep the bar area clean and organized at all times, including wiping down counters, washing glassware, and disposing of waste.* Monitor and restock inventory, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies.* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper storage and handling of food and beverages.*Knowledge of Products and Menu:** Stay informed about the venue's drink menu, including specialty cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options.* Provide information to customers about available drinks and ingredients, and make recommendations based on their preferences.* Continuously expand knowledge of new and trending beverages to enhance customer experience.*Collaboration with Staff:** Coordinate with other bar staff, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.* Communicate effectively with colleagues to fulfill customer orders and address any issues or concerns.* Work as part of a team to maintain a positive and cohesive work environment.*Adherence to Venue Policies:** Follow venue policies and procedures regarding alcohol service, safety protocols, and cleanliness standards.* Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol service and sales.* Demonstrate professionalism and integrity in all interactions with customers and colleagues.*Qualifications:** _This position requires standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects._* Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage service standards.* Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.*Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:** High school diploma or GED* 2 years of prior experience as a bartender or in a similar customer service role preferred.* Current beverage service certification or other certification as required by federal/state/local law.* Familiar with point-of-sale computers and software*Hours: This position requires weekend availability. We routinely have events Thursday - Saturday with special tenant events twice monthly.
