*SEARCHING NEWLY LICENSED ATTORNEY - COMPETITVE PAY - ON JOB TRAINING*Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.*Job Overview*You will be responsible for managing the litigation phases of personal injury cases, from filing pleadings through settlement or trial, ensuring thorough legal research, strategic negotiation, and compelling legal drafting.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about making a difference through law, this position is perfect for you!*Key Responsibilities:** *Client & Case Management:* Meet with clients, file cases timely, and explain legal rights and options.* *Investigation & Evidence Gathering:* Collect police reports, medical records, witness statements, photos, and hire experts.* *Legal Strategy Development:* Taking _*depositions of clients, defendants, and witnesses*_, including experts, to formulate a concise legal case for negotiations and/or trial.* *Document Preparation:* Draft complaints, motions, and other legal pleadings.* *Negotiation:* Communicate with insurance adjusters to reach fair settlements.* *Litigation:* Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trials if settlement fails.* *Client Support:* Counsel clients, manage expectations, and protect them from insurance tactics.*Typical Cases Handled:** Car, Truck, & Motorcycle Accidents* Slip & Falls* Medical Malpractice* Defective Products* Workplace Injuries*Required Skills & Qualifications:** Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree & State Bar Membership.* Strong negotiation, research, and courtroom advocacy skills.* Empathy and communication to support stressed clients.* Proficiency in legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.* Use of legal software like Needles, WordPerfect, etc.* Strong negotiation skills to advocate effectively on behalf of clients. xijylhu Familiarity with other practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and securities law is a plus.Benefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Health insurance* Life insuranceWork Location: In person
