The attorney will ensure the highest standards of legal service, achieving successful outcomes for clients while maintaining compliance with immigration laws and regulations. This role requires a commitment to client advocacy, strategic case management, and continuous professional development to adapt to the evolving landscape of immigration law.*Core Responsibilities:*● Prepare and manage humanitarian visa applications, including asylum and refugee cases.● Handle family-based immigration cases, including petitions and adjustments of status.● Represent clients in removal proceedings and provide strategic defense.● Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents, including briefs and motions.● Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.● Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and regulations.● Provide compassionate and effective client communication and counsel.● Responsible for reviewing a minimum of 7 packets per week● Responsible for meeting with clients to draft declarations.● Responsible for ensuring all documents and packets are accurate prior to final review of the Senior Attorney.● Responsible for conducting a minimum of 10 initial consultation with potential clients per week.*Qualifications:*● Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.● Active bar membership.
