This role requires a strong background in automotive and industrial machinery, with leadership capabilities to manage maintenance operations effectively. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with heavy equipment, and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure optimal performance and safety across our fleet and machinery.*Responsibilities** Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines, heavy equipment, farm machinery, and industrial equipment.* Perform complex repairs including transmissions, hydraulics, suspensions, air brakes, alignment, HVAC systems, shocks & struts, and welding.* Manage maintenance schedules for vehicles such as tractor-trailers, forklifts, excavators, cranes, and other heavy machinery.* Fabricate parts or modifications as needed using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics.* Oversee the repair and maintenance of customer vehicles and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards.* Lead a team of technicians by assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring quality workmanship.* Maintain detailed records of repairs performed using diagnostic tools and service manuals.* Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols related to heavy lifting, electrical systems, hydraulics, and vehicle operation.* Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues using schematics and automotive diagnostics tools.*Requirements** Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Service Technician with dealership experience preferred.* Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, suspension components, air brakes, and wheel alignments.* Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and farm machinery.* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (including soldering), and diagnostic software.* Ability to read schematics accurately for troubleshooting electrical or hydraulic systems.* Experience with vehicle maintenance including tire service and shocks & struts replacement.* Knowledge of fabrication techniques for custom parts or repairs.* Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform physical tasks associated with mechanical repairs.* Strong customer service skills for interacting with clients regarding repairs or maintenance needs.* Certification or experience in welding is a plus; valid driver's license required for certain operational tasks. xijylhu This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled mechanic with leadership qualities to manage maintenance operations while applying their technical expertise across diverse machinery types in a dynamic environment.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hourExpected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
