The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Diesel Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet.*Duties** Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy construction equipment.* Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.* Conduct brake repairs, tire service, and electrical system troubleshooting.* Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts when necessary.* Work on HVAC systems related to diesel machinery.* Repair or replace shocks, struts, and other suspension components.* Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.*Requirements** Proven experience as a Heavy Construction Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.* Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and systems.* Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.* Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.* Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and repair.* Ability to perform brake repair and tire service effectively.* Certification as a Service Technician is advantageous.* Must possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. xijylhu Join us in maintaining our fleet's performance while contributing your expertise in diesel mechanics!Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hourBenefits:* Paid time offExperience:* Mechanic: 5 years (Required)Ability to Commute:* Heflin, AL 36264 (Required)Work Location: In person
