We are a professional, customer-centric company, and our goal is to maintain our fleet of 20 trucks and 40 trailers at a high level of quality.Responsibilities:* Perform routine maintenance(PM and LOF) and repairs as needed on semi trucks and trailers.* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair brake and ABS systems.* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues: engine, chassis, lighting, etc.* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair engine and transmission fault codes* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair driveline issues* Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.* Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs.* Perform exterior washes on trucks and trailers as needed.* Provide excellent service by addressing driver maintenance concerns and answering questions.* Maintain communication with dispatch to coordinate arrival and departure of trucks and trailers in order to have equipment ready when needed.What we're looking for in a candidate:* Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, formal training is preferred.* Knowledge of truck and trailer brake and electrical systems.* Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues.* Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.* Experience with welding and tire service.* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Strong communication skills to interact with team members.First shift, Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities available but not required.Ultimately, we are looking for someone who will take pride in looking after a well maintained fleet, and keeping it in excellent condition. xijylhu Pay is based on your experience and skill level.
