This role is ideal for an attorney who wants *real responsibility, meaningful courtroom exposure, and freedom from big-firm bureaucracy*, while still working on high-value disputes.We represent businesses across industries including e-commerce, construction, insurance, digital marketing, and civil engineering. Our cases involve *significant commercial disputes*, and we also serve as outside general counsel for multiple businesses.Who This Is For* Litigation associates with *approximately 2-6 years of experience** Attorneys who want *hands-on litigation*, not document-review purgatory* Lawyers who value *results over arbitrary billable quotas** Associates looking for *growth, trust, and autonomy* in a boutique environmentWhat You'll Do* Draft pleadings in Texas state and federal courts* Draft and respond to discovery* Research and analyze complex legal issues* Review and synthesize large document sets to develop case strategy* Appear at *hearings, depositions, and trials** Draft and revise contracts and assist with transactional matters as needed* Work directly with clients and collaborate closely with support staff* Use modern legal technology and AI tools to work efficientlyWorkload & Expectations* *No formal billable hour requirement** Workload varies with litigation cycles; typically a 9am-5pm workday* Focus is on *quality, strategy, and results*, not timekeeping theaterRequirements* Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas* Experience with *business or commercial litigation* in Texas courts* Strong legal writing, research, and attention to detail* Professional, collaborative attitude (and yes, a sense of humor helps)Compensation & Benefits* *$100,000-$150,000 annual salary (DOE)** Health insurance* 401(k)* Bonus opportunities* Annual salary increases* Paid time off* Business-casual, professional, low-ego work environmentAbout the FirmWe recently expanded into a larger office in the heart of Allen and continue to grow.
