The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various legal disciplines, including estate planning, family law, and litigation, with a focus on serving the senior community. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive legal services that address the unique needs of elderly clients, ensuring their rights, assets, and well-being are protected. Candidates should demonstrate excellent research and writing skills, proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis, and experience in legal drafting and administrative tasks.*Duties** Provide expert legal counsel on estate planning, guardianships, Medicaid planning, and elder rights.* Handle cases involving family law matters pertinent to seniors, including power of attorney and healthcare directives.* Conduct thorough legal research across multiple practice areas such as environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and litigation.* Draft legal documents including wills, trusts, contracts, pleadings, and other necessary filings with precision and clarity.* Manage case files efficiently within the law office environment while maintaining compliance with all legal standards.* Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in court proceedings when necessary.* Utilize legal research platforms like Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case strategies.* Stay current with changes in elder law regulations and related legal fields to provide informed advice.* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive client service and effective case management.*Requirements** Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with active bar membership.* Proven experience in estate planning, family law, litigation, or related practice areas; experience in environmental law or immigration law is a plus.* Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw and LexisNexis platforms.* Excellent legal drafting and writing skills with attention to detail.* Prior legal administrative experience preferred for efficient case handling.* Ability to analyze complex legal issues across multiple disciplines including securities law and tribal regulations.* Exceptional negotiation skills with a client-centered approach.* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously within a busy law office setting.
