The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently.Apply now, read the job details by scrolling down Double check you have the necessary skills before sending an application.*Key Responsibilities*â–ª Diagnose and repair alternating electrical systems on diesel, LP gas, and natural gas generator sets, including electrical services, automatic transfer switches, and accessories.â–ª Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and testing, including fluid and filter changes.â–ª Set up, disconnect, and return TPC rental generators.â–ª Conduct resistive load bank testing on generators and transfer switches.â–ª Perform diesel fuel maintenance testing and polishing services.â–ª Install, troubleshoot, and repair wireless remote monitoring systems for generators and transfer switches.â–ª Work beyond standard business hours when needed for critical projects.â–ª Maintain accurate documentation, including work orders, invoices, warranties, timesheets, equipment details, parts lists, and load bank reports.â–ª Keep the assigned service vehicle in top condition and maintain proper stock of service parts.â–ª Ensure all tools and technology are functional, reporting any issues to the Service Operations Administrator.â–ª Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation.â–ª Perform other duties as assigned.*Qualifications & Skills*â–ª Experience: At least five years in power generation, engine repair, or controls.â–ª Education: High school diploma or equivalent.â–ª Technical Skills: Computer literacy and strong problem-solving abilities.*Additional Requirements*â–ª Valid Virginia Driver's License with an acceptable driving record (as defined by our insurer).â–ª Must pass a DOT physical, background check, and drug test.â–ª Ability to perform physical tasks typical of construction work, including kneeling, climbing, bending, crawling, lifting 50+ lbs., and working overhead.â–ª Must tolerate various weather conditions and uneven surfaces.â–ª Functional vision, hearing, and clear verbal communication skills for in-person and phone communication.*Why Join Us?*â–ª Work with an industry leader in power generation services.â–ª Competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities. xijylhu â–ª Be part of a supportive and professional team dedicated to excellence.Job Type: Full-timePay: Up to $33.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceExperience:* Generator Servicing: 5 years (Required)License/Certification:* EGSA Journeyman Certification (Required)Work Location: In person
