In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining large commercial trucks and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced mechanics passionate about heavy-duty vehicle repair and maintenance to make a significant impact. We value dedication, reliabilty and the willingness to learn.*Responsibilities** Conduct thorough diagnostics using diagnostics tools and schematics to identify issues with diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, and other heavy equipment components.* Perform repairs and maintenance on Class 8 trucks, including brake repair, engine overhaul, transmission servicing, air brake systems, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, and HVAC systems.* Fabricate parts or modify existing components using power tools, welding equipment, and hand tools to meet specific repair needs or customizations.* Read and interpret schematics for complex systems such as hydraulics, electrical wiring diagrams, and mechanical assemblies to ensure precise repairs.* Maintain detailed service records of all repairs performed while adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations.*Qualifications** Proven mechanic experience with heavy-duty trucks.* Experience with Cat, Cummins, Detroit and Allison a Plus but not required.* Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension components, HVAC systems, and electrical diagnostics.* Familiarity with schematics for electrical systems and hydraulic diagrams for troubleshooting complex issues. xijylhu * Experience working with farm machinery or industrial equipment is a plus.Job Type: Full-timePay: $24.87 - $41.00 per hourExpected hours: 42.5 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Referral program* Retirement plan* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
