We strive to engage with our customers by creating long-lasting relationships by offering the best motorcycle experience, employing well-trained and motivated sales and service staff.*Job Responsibilities: - *Accept work assignments from Service advisor/Manager. - Request parts for the job as early as possible when needs become known. *- *Perform service, repair and customization work in accordance to factory specifications. - Notify Service advisor/Manager of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known so that customer may be contacted and notified of the delay. - Maintain up to date mechanical knowledge of motorcycles;*Requirements: *- Valid driver's license with motorcycle endorsement; - General understanding of computer systems and computer skills; - Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and handle tools; - Ability to lift 50+ pounds of material; - Ability to balance and push a 700+ pound motorcycle.*QUALIFICATIONS: * - #1... Sundays and Mondays off.We are seeking a skilled and passionate Motorcycle Mechanic to join our team at IndianMotorcycle of Northern Kentucky. As a Motorcycle Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and customizing motorcycles to ensure they perform at their best. If you are a motorcycle enthusiast with technical skills and a strong attention to detail, we'd love to hear from you.Responsibilities:● Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire replacements, and brake inspections.● Diagnose and repair motorcycle engines, transmissions, and other components.● Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform wiring repairs as needed.● Install aftermarket parts and accessories, and customize motorcycles to meet customer preferences.● Conduct comprehensive safety inspections to ensure motorcycles are roadworthy.● Keep accurate records of service and repair work.● Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding repair recommendations and timelines.● Stay up-to-date with the latest motorcycle technology and industry trends.Requirements:● Proven experience as a Motorcycle Mechanic or a similar role.● Technical knowledge of various motorcycle makes and models.● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues.● Familiarity with motorcycle diagnostic tools and equipment.● Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.● Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities.● Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to ensure motorcycles are safe for use.● A valid motorcycle license is a plus.● Certification from a reputable technical school or motorcycle mechanic training program is preferred.● Can maintain proper attendance: Start time Tues-Friday 9:30am, Saturday 9am for all staff meetings.
