The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing techniques and the ability to work effectively on various construction projects. This role involves preparing, pouring, and finishing concrete surfaces to ensure high-quality results that meet project specifications. The Concrete Finisher will collaborate with other construction professionals to deliver projects on time and to the highest standards.*Duties** Prepare and clean surfaces for concrete pouring, including grading and leveling ground.* Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to project specifications.* Use hand tools and equipment to shape, smooth, and finish surfaces of poured concrete.* Apply sealants, caulking, and other finishing materials as required.* Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.* Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, including masons and carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.* Perform quality checks on finished surfaces to ensure they meet standards.*Skills** Proficient in using hand tools related to concrete finishing.* Knowledge of construction estimating practices for accurate project planning.* Experience with metal stud framing and masonry techniques is a plus.* Familiarity with roofing systems and hardscape installations.* Competence in frame carpentry and trim carpentry for integrated construction tasks.* Ability to read and understand schematics for effective execution of tasks.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.* Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.Requirements:· 1 year of experience working with concrete.· High school diploma or GED preferred· Valid Driver's License· Reliable Transportation· Must have own hand tools· Cannot be afraid of heights· Pass Pre-employment drug screen*All Grand Industrial employees are required to comply with our Substance Abuse Prevention Policy as a condition of employment.
