Responsibilities: The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant reports directly to the department manager and/or his/her designee with clinical supervision provided by a licensed occupational therapistResponsible for utilization and supervision of volunteers, students, and support staff relating to the provision of occupational therapy servicesThe occupational therapist is responsible for interpretation/implementation of physician orders, provision of safe care to customers, protection of confidential information, professional communication, economic use of time/resources, and creation of a positive work/therapy environmentKnowledgeable of the principles and practice of occupational therapyPerform the technical skills of the certified occupational therapy assistant and be competent to operate the equipment utilized in his/her professional areaAbility to write and speak xijylhu in a professional and intelligent manner and must demonstrate supervision/management skillsWilling to assume additional responsibilities as requested Requirements: Associate Degree required OTA Lic in state of employment required BLS required Work Schedule: 5 Days - 8 Hours Work Type: Full Time
