Job Title

The Senior HVAC Technician will play a pivotal role in servicing, troubleshooting, and installing advanced HVAC systems, including large commercial compressors, chillers, VFDs, and related mechanical systems. This position requires a deep understanding of HVAC operations in large-scale commercial environments and the ability to mentor junior technicians. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working on complex systems, striving for excellence in both their technical expertise and customer service.Make sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below.*Key Responsibilities:** Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex HVAC systems, including chillers, large compressors, VFDs, and hydronic systems.* Install and maintain new HVAC equipment, ensuring systems are fully operational and meet customer specifications.* Lead by example in providing technical leadership and training to junior technicians.* Ensure high standards of safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and codes.* Work with the team to manage service schedules, ensuring that customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.* Provide detailed service reports, including system diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.* Interface directly with clients to explain technical issues and provide cost-effective solutions.* Mentor junior technicians, offering guidance on complex troubleshooting and system installations.* Stay current with the latest HVAC technologies, industry standards, and best practices.*Qualifications:** *EPA Universal Certification* required.* *Minimum 5 years* of experience in servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining large-scale commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, compressors, VFDs, and hydronic systems.* Proficiency in the installation and startup of commercial HVAC equipment, including but not limited to compressors, VFDs, chillers, boilers, and air handling systems.* Strong experience with troubleshooting complex HVAC and refrigeration systems.* Knowledge of building automation systems and energy-efficient solutions.* Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and engineering specifications.* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to both clients and internal teams.*Physical Demands:** Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various physical positions (standing, bending, crawling, etc.).* Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.* Ability to carry tools and equipment for distances and climb ladders when needed. xijylhu * Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions, including outdoor weather and tight spaces.Job Type: Full-timePay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Company truck* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Referral program* Tools providedAbility to Commute:* Loveland, CO 80538 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Loveland, CO 80538: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
