This role provides leadership for records compliance, registration systems, academic policy execution, and student lifecycle processes while building strong partnerships across the University. The Director will oversee a high-impact team that supports students from admission through degree conferral with excellence, integrity, and care.Provide dependable and professional in-person administrative and student support.This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement working both in-person and remotely.Salary: Pay range $ 70,304 - $70,791Actual salary offered is determined by the candidate's experience, education, skills, and other factors, including internal equity and university funding resources.Job Status:Full time***Job Description:What We're Looking For:Extensive experience in university academic records, registration, and FERPA complianceProven leadership experience managing professional staff in a higher education environmentStrong knowledge of degree audits, transcript evaluation, graduation clearance, and academic policyExperience with student information systems and reporting tools (Workday experience is a plus)Demonstrated ability to translate institutional priorities into operational plansStrong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive improvementCollaborative leadership style with strong relationship-building skills across campusKnowledge and experience working with a diverse population is preferred What You'll Be Doing:Lead all Graduate and Professional Studies records and registration operations, including transcripts, degree conferral, enrollment verification, academic status changes, and graduation eligibilityServe as the official custodian of University academic records for Graduate and Professional Studies, ensuring accuracy, integrity, security, and regulatory complianceSupervise and develop Records staff, providing leadership, coaching, and performance managementOversee grade processing, changes, and incomplete grade monitoring in partnership with faculty and academic leadershipManage academic scheduling for Graduate and Professional Studies programs and additional campusesLead production of the academic calendar, catalog, course schedules, and sub-sessionsPartner with Academic Affairs, Student Financial Services, Financial Aid, Admissions, Advising, IT, and Student Success to ensure seamless student processesOversee federal and National Student Clearinghouse reporting and complianceRespond to subpoenas and legal requests for student records in coordination with University legal counselMaintain current knowledge of federal regulations, best practices, and emerging technologies in academic records and registration Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferredMinimum of five years of professional experience in post-secondary records, registration, or a closely related field, including supervisory responsibilityDemonstrated leadership, organizational, and operational management experienceExtensive knowledge of FERPA and federal regulations governing academic recordsStrong planning, communication, and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to lead complex processes with a high degree of accuracy and accountabilityEvidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement.
