Job OverviewThe experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.PGS Gold & Coin is seeking a Senior Woo-Commerce Developer & Website Manager.We need an inhouse, skilled Webmaster that can take our current Storefront/Website to the next level. A very experienced Wordpress and Woo Commerce expert is needed to own the daily Operation, Optimization, and Integration of our website and online sales infrastructure.This position will involve 2 Parts:*#1 - Storefront Maintenance** Work closely with our ERP/CRM Manager to ensure smooth functionality for all aspects of E-Commerce, including UX and UI, Ordering, CC Fraud Detection, Other manners of Payments such as Paypal, Wires, ACH..., Dropship, Order Fulfillment, Shipping, Notifications, Taxes and other functions.* Maintain and update product pages, category pages, landing pages, banners, promotions, and educational content.* Ensure smooth site navigation, checkout flow, and UX are clean, intuitive, and conversion-focused.* Coordinate Updates, Plugins, Extensions, and several third-party integrations.* Oversee fraud prevention, chargeback mitigation, and secure payment processing.* Perform QA testing before and after updates or deployments.* Ensure brand consistency across all web properties.* Maintain website security best practices.* Manage backups, access controls, admin permissions, and incident responses.* Troubleshoot failed orders, checkout issues, and other errors.* Monitor reviews, feedback, and customer behavior trends.* Train internal staff on website and e-commerce systems as needed.* SEO Managements such as:* Digital Marketing & Conversion Optimization.* Optimize product listings and content for SEO (Titles, Meta Descriptions, Structured Data...)* Creating and testing Promotions, Bundles, Seasonal Campaigns, and other Special Offers.* Collaborate on Email Marketing, SMS Campaigns, and Retargeting efforts for maximum marketing.* Monitoring Conversion Rates, Bounce Rates, Cart Abandonment and other SEO Metrics.*#2 - Integration with our Odoo ERP** Manage Odoo synchronization with Online Product Catalogs, Pricing APIs, SKUs, Images and Descriptions, Variants, and Inventory and Orders.* Maintain the APIs and Webhooks used to provide a smooth and accurate User Experience.*Required Qualifications*8+ Years of each of these Skills/Experiences:* Hands-on e-commerce website experience.* Direct experience in design, storefront management, optimization, and development.* WooCommerce and Odoo.* Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS and any other required languages.* Experience with inventory-driven and ERP-integrated environments.*Additional Skills (Nice to Have):** Digital Advertising such as Google Ads, Meta, YouTube...* Video Creation and Optimization for products.* AI Tools for content generation, SEO Research, Personalization and Workflow automation.* Advanced SEO such as Structured Data, Core Web Vitals, Multi-location....* Strong analytics mindset.Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceApplication Question(s):* You MUST be located within 15 miles of our Palatine Store! xijylhu * Please attach at least two fully functioning WordPress Woo Commerce Website that you have created and are currently maintaining.Experience:* Responsive web design: 8 years (Required)* WordPress: 8 years (Required)* woo commerce: 8 years (Required)* SEO: 8 years (Required)* Google Analytics: 8 years (Preferred)* Keyword research: 8 years (Preferred)Location:* Palatine, IL 60067 (Preferred)Work Location: In person
