The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential, and light commercial settings. The candidate must hold a valid Connecticut HVAC license and have a strong understanding of HVAC principles, equipment, and safety procedures.*Responsibilities:*1. Maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.2. Perform routine service on HVAC systems, including inspecting, cleaning, and servicing components such as filters, coils, and ductwork.3. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, identifying faults and providing effective solutions to restore functionality.4. Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring as necessary to ensure proper operation of HVAC systems.5. Test HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.6. Keep accurate orders of work performed, including maintenance logs, service reports, and parts inventory.7. Provide excellent customer service, including communicating effectively with clients, addressing their concerns, and explaining HVAC issues and solutions in a clear manner.8. Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and changes in regulations related to HVAC systems.9. Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times, including wearing personal protective equipment and following proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.*Qualifications:*1. Connecticut B, D or S license required.2. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal HVAC training program preferred.3. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an HVAC technician.4. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and equipment.5. Proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC problems and performing repairs.6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.8. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.9.
