Design Project Manager Location: Remote (NC, TX, IL, MI ONLY) Company: ConfidentialRemember to check your CV before applying Also, ensure you read through all the requirements related to this role.- Manufacturer/Distributor for Automotive RelaysPay: $65,000.00- $85,000.00 per year JOB DESCRIPTION Please note: This is an engineering project role supporting product, application, and technical initiatives.It is not a construction project management position and does not involve managing construction sites or building projects.The project manager is responsible for managing projects to ensure project goals are met.Determine and define project scope and objectives Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner Prepare a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements Track project costs to meet budget Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution Monitor progress and adjust as needed Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement Additional Essential Functions: Work independently with minimal supervision Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, coworkers, and the electrical engineering team Accept direction and constructive feedback in a collaborative environment Complete tasks accurately and on schedule Effectively multitask and manage multiple projects and priorities Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality Education and Experience: BS Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology required with 1 to 5 years of relevant experience Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Proven ability to solve problems creatively Strong familiarity with project management software tools (Microsoft Project), methodologies, and best practices Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline Experience working with customers, sales, and engineering teams Innovative thinker and problem solver. xijylhu Willingness to push for better solutions Professional English in written and verbal form; professional presentation skills Ability to travel 25% of the time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insuranceRemote working/work at home options are available for this role.
