This position also performs procedures appropriate to their competence and credentials held under general technical supervision.Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.Think you've got what it takes?Job Duties & Responsibilities• Performs set up and preparation of equipment/supplies for ordered test• Reviews patient's history, obtains any necessary information or documentation and provides education to patient about procedures. Monitors and documents patient's condition at all times and reports any adverse reactions• Ensures electrode application in adherence with the International 10-20 & 10-10 System• Operates and maintains a variety of equipment to obtain diagnostic data, including EEG (Electroencephalography), EP (Evoked Potential) equipment• Recognizes and corrects for artifacts to ensure for proper acquisition of the MEG study• Documents patient information in patient's electronic medical record according to hospital and departmental guidelines• Informs manager or designee of all patient/personal injury or unsafe situations, anticipated problems and unusual situations; completes appropriate related documentation according to departmental and hospital guidelines• Works with departmental staff and other health care professionals by volunteering regularly to help others when time allows• Communicates effectively with patient/family, department staff, physicians and other health care professionals to promote quality patient care• Follows institutional and departmental guidelines related to patient, employee and departmental confidentiality• Maintains Continuous Service Readiness (CSR) within center, to ensure a safe environment, quality patient care, and successful completion of site surveys (i.e., mock surveys, Joint Commission)Skills & Requirements• H.S.
