Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Sustainment Program Lead Engineer (Level 5) to join our team in El Segundo, California. As a Sustainment Program Lead Engineer, you will support the customer on maintaining and monitoring vehicle fleet in operations; Provide factory expertise and recommendations to the customer; Develop new operations to meet customers needs; Be a part of our passionate and highly-motivated team who are excited to be on the forefront of modern spaceflight.Position Responsibilities:Customer Interface for providing status/updates to cost, schedule and inputs based on customers Statement of WorkManage team and staffing for sustainment programManage cost and budget for sustainment programSupport program directorProvide and review technical engineering factory recommendations to customer for fleet or vehicle operationsFirst responder for Support fleet issues or signatures (24/7)This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 10+ years of experience working with Real-time Satellite or Space Systems OperationsMust be willing and able to be on call for 24/7 supportPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):14+ years of experience working with Real-time Satellite or Space Systems OperationsProgram or Project Management experienceCost Accounting Management experienceRoot Cause Corrective Action experienceTeam Leadership experienceStrong general System Engineering backgroundConflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Relocation:Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
