Job DescriptionPlease make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.The Breast Oncology & Plastics Physician Assistant performs a vital role in Cedars-Sinai Medical Group dedication to deliver effective and efficient quality health care services to its patients. Together, the collaborative Physician and PA will share responsibility for the health and welfare of our Breast Oncology members.Essential duties and responsibilities:Follow protocols which provide medical authority when such are indicated in providing care.Perform complete physical exams and assessments of patients including urgent, emergent, and non-urgent presentation.Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to augment physical findings.Define/document differential diagnoses and list differential diagnoses with most likely diagnosis included.Write orders for tests, procedures, and the implementation and management of therapies by following company protocols.Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for plan of care, in collaboration with supervising physician.Interpret data and diagnostic results for appropriate course of action including but not limited to blood gasses, radiology, EKG, etc.Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart including follow-up notes.Working hours for this role:4/10's work scheduleNo callsNo weekendsQualificationsEducational Requirements:Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Accredited by ARC-PALicense/Certification Requirements:Physician Assistant Licensure by the State of CAStrong in-patient experience is preferableAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS/ALS)Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red CrossDrug Enforcement Administration DEA certificatePhysician Assistant National Commission xijylhu on Certification of PAs (NCCPA)Experience:Minimum 1 year Physician Assistant experience in an Oncology and Plastics setting strongly preferred.Req ID : 11008Working Title : Physician Assistant - Surgical Oncology - Breast & Plastics - TarzanaDepartment : Tower Infusion CenterBusiness Entity : Cedars-Sinai Medical Care FoundationJob Category : Clinical OperationsJob Specialty : Advanced Practice (PA)Overtime Status : EXEMPTPrimary Shift : DayShift Duration : 10 hourBase Pay : $65.10 - $104.16
