This full-time role reports to theValue Stream Managerand is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving CNC equipment and facility systems to ensure the highest levels of safety, productivity, and quality.The ideal candidate can differentiate betweenmechanical, electrical, and setup issues , perform complex repairs, and proactively support continuous improvement initiatives in a high-demand manufacturing environment.Major ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repairelectrical and mechanical issueson production, quality, and inspection equipmentQuickly diagnose root causes and implement permanent corrective actionsApply properLock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO)procedures at all timesRead and interpretelectrical schematics and mechanical drawingsto identify parts and perform repairsRead layout blueprints and position machinery in compliance withOSHA and MIOSHAsafety rules and building codesSupport5S and workflow optimizationwhen placing or relocating machineryObtain and use licenses for moving equipment (lift trucks, man-lifts, cranes, articulating lifts, etc.)Assess feasibility ofcontinuous improvementprojects and implement approved modificationsFabricate minor machine parts, guards, and fixtures as neededOperate basic shop equipment:welder, torch, mill, drill press, band saw , etc.Perform basic machine building, rebuilding, and component repair (valves, cylinders, pumps, clutches, etc.)Diagnose and perform minor building repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, flooring, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, appliances)Maintain a strong focus onsafety, housekeeping, and complianceStay current with new technologies impacting productivity and qualityRequirementsStrong knowledge ofbasic machine principlesand mechanical systemsExperience with:CNC equipment5-axis and multi-axis machinesMachine tooling repairsElectrical alignmentsMechanical repairsPLC experience a plusRobotics experience a plusProgramming and troubleshooting experienceAbility to work safely in team environments while moving heavy xijylhu machineryFlexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, changing environmentAbility to work from ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platformsAbility to recognize unsafe conditions and take corrective actionAbility to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in uncomfortable positionsFrequently lift and carry up to50 lbs , occasionally moreQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2 years of maintenance experienceElectrical experience requiredElectrical troubleshooting experience requiredWhy Join Us?Stable1st shift, Monday-Friday scheduleTechnically challenging role with exposure to advanced CNC systemsOpportunity to impact uptime, safety, and continuous improvementTeam-oriented, safety-focused manufacturing environment
