OverviewAll the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant, 3 to 6 days a week, half or full day, to join our dynamic healthcare team with family care, pain management and orthopedic follow ups at our Orange, Downey, or Pomona location . The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, exceptional patient care skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality medical care across various settings, including acute care, outpatient clinics, and emergency medicine.DutiesAs a Physician Assistant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessmentsPerforming diagnostic evaluations and interpreting medical imagingAdministering medications and injections as neededAssisting in surgical procedures and providing post-operative careManaging acute pain and developing pain management plansTriage patients effectively in emergency and urgent care settingsUtilizing EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, and eClinicalWorks for patient documentationParticipating in clinical research and trials to enhance patient outcomesCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams in hospital medicine, critical care, and primary care settingsEducating patients on health management, disease prevention, and lifestyle modificationsExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and experiences:Proficiency in ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and CPT coding for accurate billing practicesExperience in critical care, ICU, or Level I/II trauma center environmentsFamiliarity with various medical specialties including pediatrics, geriatrics, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, and occupational healthKnowledge of aseptic techniques, airway management, phlebotomy, and basic life support protocolsExperience with telehealth services and remote patient monitoring systemsStrong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and infection control practicesAbility to manage data collection and maintain accurate medical records while adhering to HIPAA standardsJoin us in making a difference in patient lives through compassionate care and clinical excellence. xijylhu We look forward to welcoming a new member to our team who is committed to providing outstanding healthcare services.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, ContractPay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offWork Location: In person
