Easy Apply now by clicking the Apply button and sending us your resume.Salary: $45 - $60 per hourA bit about us:We are a commercial mechanical company in Boise ID looking for a Chiller Technician.Why join us?BenefitsPTO401kand more!Job DetailsExpertise we are seeking: 5+ years of exposure to ChillersCentrifugal compressors and chillers with and without VFD applications (York, Trane, Carrier, Smardt, Daikin)Screw compressors and chillers (air and water cooled)Reciprocating compressors (air and water cooled)VFD's Centrifugal pumps and motors including alignment/bearing replacementCooling towers and sweeper/filtration systemsHeat exchangers flat plate/tube and shellEMS Control sequences/ strategies and control devices (central plant and in the facility)EMS integration with central plant equipment (BACnet)Process chilled water systems/equipmentLarge tonnage A/H systems with and without economizersTechnician will be responsible for:Perform chiller and central plant troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs as required.Maintain record of work performed and parts/materials usedCommunicate effectively with Supervisor and customer on a regular basis regarding equipment condition, needed repairs and general operating condition.Values great safety practices.Uses proper tools and instruments for troubleshooting. Avoids needless callbacks by providing thorough diagnosis and uses skilled workmanship practices.Team player and ability to direct apprentices as needed.Interested in hearing more?
